Austro Tower | Main collecting channel

The Austro Tower will be built along the airport motorway between the business district TownTown and the project TrIIIple. With a height of approx. 135 m and 38 floors, the Austro Tower will be the tallest tower in the area.
Immediately behind the construction site runs Vienna's right main collection channel and its discharge channel. To measure predicted elevations or settlements, a hose levelling instrument system was installed over the entire length of the construction site. It records all movements round the clock and alerts when limit values are exceeded. Measuring mirrors were also installed in 15 profiles to be able to tachymetrically measure deformations.
On-site inclinometer measurements are carried out to monitor the deformation of diaphragm walls.
