In the run-up to a planned attic conversion of a Gründerzeit (a period of rapid industrial expansion in Germany from 1850 to 1914) dwelling, we conducted a survey of the attic, the underlying upper storey, and the yard on the ground floor. For the upper storey we also created a 3D BIM model alongside the traditional 2D plans.
