Gerlamoos Filial Church

The series of illustrations dating back over 500 years on the north wall of the filial church in Gerlamoos are a part of a monitoring program for historic frescoes set up by the Austrian Federal Monuments Authority. We were given to chance to document the existing structure in high-definition and with millimetre precision. A true orthophoto of the entire series of illustrations was produced at a resolution capable of depicting even 0.3-millimetre thick cracks to scale by using a calibrated high-tech camera system, perfect illumination, and laser-scanning.
