Haus der Laune

Conservation measures are needed to prevent any further deterioration of the "Haus der Laune" ruins in the Laxenburg Castle Park, and subsequently offer visitors the opportunity to discover the culturally significant, precious property. Documentation of the structural constitution of the object was the first step. The ruinous nature required a full-surface graphic survey of the sight through a combination of laser-scanning and photogrammetry. The full-scale photomaps now provide a basis for planning the conservation measures and for monitoring purposes, to quickly identify any detrimental changes to the substance.
